About Operation Be Kind

Operation Be Kind is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, whose mission is to teach and inspire our youth to be kind and compassionate to those in need.

History

In March of 2017, our founder volunteered to feed the homeless in the downtown Civic Center area of Santa Ana. She returned home that night wanting to teach her daughter to be kind and compassionate to all people experiencing hardship or illness. From that point on, she was inspired to spread kindness in tangible ways, and Operation Be Kind was formed.

Each month, we choose a cause and assemble Kind Bags filled with essential items for that targeted cause. We then team up with other non-profit organizations to distribute our Kind Bags.

To date, we have distributed Kind Bags to the Homeless, children with Rheumatoid Arthritis, chemo care bags for cancer patients, backpacks for low income families, camp bags for children with HIV, and care bags for single pregnant women living in shelters.

What started as a small side project has grown into a large community of friends, family and kids wanting to help spread kindness on a monthly basis. We have a bright future ahead with many important causes that are dear to many people. We have plans for future missions involving special needs children, pediatric cancer, disabled veterans, NICU patients, low-income families, senior care occupants, and many more causes. Our goal is to bring Operation Be Kind to communities all across the nation, and help spread Kindness one mission at a time.
